Who Are We
We are just a club meeting for the love of the sport. We only charge to cover costs of supplies, insurance and to give a donation to the church as a thank you for allowing us to use the building.

All of the instructors are volunteers. But we still provide Kukkiwon black belt certifications, just as before.

We are still South Carolina's most award winning Tae Kwon Do program at the State, National and International levels and are still based in Summerville, SC.

Bute aWELCOME!

God has opened up another door for us!

Yes! We are open! But Ray Smith's Taekwondo has changed names!! We are now Club RSTKD! (Short for Club Ray Smith's Taekwondo in honor of Grand Master Smith.) And we are excited to continue to offer the same high quality instruction that was provided to us by Grand Master Smith!

As most of you know, Grandmaster Smith's dojang officially closed its doors at the beginning of the pandemic and Grandmaster Smith took a long overdue retirement. But God has opened another door for us! We are now meeting at Fellowship of Oakbrook every Monday and Wednesday night! And we have  added sparring on Thursday nights 2-3 times per month!

Purpose Driven Life: Teaching, Instructing and Coaching has been one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives. We realized early on that it came with great responsibility and it demands great commitment. Our students can make improvements through a structured program of practice and measured performance and appropriate competition. All managed in a safe and fun environment through effective coaching. We help our students set and achieve goals. We understand what they want to achieve and create a place where we build on our students strength's and improve their weaknesses.
